STRONG FAMILIES BUILD STRONG COMMUNITIES

Purpose: To strengthen families

How: By offering a week of family-centered and uplifting activities both outside and inside the home from which families can make choices to do together. Feel free to change the order of activities to best suit your family’s lifestyle. Kids do your homework early each day so your evenings will be free for family fun.

On the final day of Week Of The Family the community will come together for a celebration of the family. It should be a day of fun activities, food, treats, door prizes, awards, education, music, and varied forms of entertainment. Families should have something (hands on) to take away from the event as well as knowledge of what the community has to offer them; especially in times of need.
